Disk images live on a microSD card; name the file correctly and the machine just boots.

The Pico W version also emulates a DaynaPORT SCSI/Link, which means a 1986 Macintosh gets Wi-Fi over the SCSI bus.

Alongside my nettalk docker container, I was able to print to a modern printer via wifi + localtalk emulation.

Super Mario Bros. Special, and All Night Nippon all in the same package, all with the same treatment.

Widescreen, cleaned-up sprites, tighter physics, resource packs, custom characters, and a level editor.

T&W Oyster Bar

Website: https://tw-oysterbar.com/

Raw oysters as good as any I’ve had. Cold, clean, shucked in front of you at the bar.

Open since 1971 and six miles north of the Emerald Isle bridge on Hwy 58. Everybody else is fighting for a table on the island.

They claim the original hushpuppy was invented about six miles from the building. Story goes it started at the old Canteen Restaurant in Mount Airy and spread out to Pilot Mountain, Dobson, and Elkin from there.

The trail launched in 2023 and has grown since. Most stops are in Mount Airy, with more in Dobson, Pilot Mountain, and Elkin, plus one just over the line in Cana, Virginia.

Dobson throws a Ground Steak Festival in June if you’d rather do the whole trail in one parking lot.

Simple, delicious, cheap.

Personal favorite: Dairy Center

Metroid Prime Origins

Project Details: https://www.reddit.com/r/Metroid/comments/1vhmcf8/metroid_prime_origins_new_fan_game_out_now/

The team behind one of my favorite fangames ( Castlevania Revamped ) has made a 2D version of Metroid Prime Origins

Love these passion projects. AM2R is a similar excellent fangame

Zelda Dungeons of Infinity

Project website: https://justinbohemier.wixsite.com/portfolio/game-design

A procedurally generated roguelike dungeon crawler built from scratch in GameMaker Studio with A Link to the Past assets.
